The Massif of Aravis became a privileged spot for winter sports 100 years ago. Indeed, the first skiers went down the snowy slopes in 1907. Then, from 1945 onward, the massif got equipped with ski lifts, fitting its slopes year after year.
Nowadays, the 220km of slopes and a summit peaking at 2600m have made of the Aravis the ideal play ground for champions.

Of course, all the young talents of La Clusaz intend to take over, not only in cross country, but also in freestyle. Pioneers in this discipline, the resort is proud to include some of the best skiers around, among which, Candide Thovex, Laurent Favre, Loïc Collon-Patton!
As for Le Grand Bornand, it distinguished itself particularly in 2006.
